Step-by-Step Admission Procedure

Online Application

Applicants must apply through the Chancellor Portal of BBMKU for LL.B or BBA LL.B programmes.

Document Verification

Submitted documents, including academic records, ID proof and photographs, are verified by the institute.

Eligibility Screening

Selection is based on eligibility criteria and merit as per university and Bar Council norms.

Provisional / Final Admission

Eligible candidates can confirm admission by submitting the required documents and fees. Applicants with pending results will receive provisional admission, which must be finalized after submitting their final mark sheet.

ELIGIBILITY

Eligibility Criteria for Courses

LL.B (3-Year Programme)

  • Graduation in any discipline from a recognized university.
  • Minimum marks: 45% (General), 42% (OBC), 40% (SC/ST).
  • No age limit as per Bar Council of India guidelines.

BBA LL.B (5-Year Programme)

  • 10+2 (Intermediate) pass in any stream.
  • Minimum marks: 45% (General), 42% (OBC), 40% (SC/ST).
  • Age should not exceed 21 years on the date of admission.
SELECTION PROCEDURE

How Students Are Selected

Application Submission

Students must apply through the Chancellor Portal of BBMKU for LL.B or Integrated Law programmes.

Eligibility Verification

Academic qualifications, percentage requirements and category criteria are verified as per university & BCI norms.

Merit-Based Screening

Students are shortlisted strictly on the basis of merit prepared from the qualifying examination marks.

Final / Provisional Admission

Selected students confirm admission by submitting documents & fees. Applicants with pending results receive provisional admission which must be confirmed before 18 Sept 2026.

STUDENT GUIDELINES

Attendance • Grace Marks • Internship

Attendance

Students must maintain minimum 75% attendance in every course. Those falling short may be barred from appearing in semester examinations as per university and BCI regulations.

Grace Marks Rule

Grace marks are awarded strictly according to BBMKU university rules to help students clear subjects where they have minor shortfalls.

Internship

Completion of mandatory legal internships is required for all students. Internships may be undertaken with courts, advocates, law firms, NGOs, or legal institutions for practical learning.

Admission Through Chancellor Portal – BBMKU

Admission Process

Admission to the 5-Year BBA LL.B (Hons.) Programme at Asarfi Institute of Legal Education is conducted through the Chancellor Portal of BBMKU. Applicants must fill the online form, upload required documents and follow the instructions given on the portal.

Important Instructions – AY 2025–26
  • Applicants must apply only through the official BBMKU Chancellor Portal.
  • Admission is granted strictly as per eligibility and merit norms of the University and BCI.
  • Students awaiting Class XII results may be granted provisional admission.
  • Provisional admission will be confirmed only after submission of the final qualifying mark sheet on or before 18 September 2026.
  • Admission is liable to be cancelled if any submitted document is found incorrect, invalid, or not produced within the stipulated time.

Eligibility Criteria

  • 10+2 pass from a recognized board.
  • Minimum aggregate: 45% (General Category) and 42% (SC/ST).
  • English must be one of the subjects in 10+2.
  • Age Limit: Candidate should not be more than 21 years on the date of admission. Any change notified by the Bar Council of India from time to time will be applicable.
